5 of the Most Comfortable Golf Shoes for Walking

Walking the golf course is excellent exercise and in my opinion, a better way to play the game. If you are like me and log hundreds of miles every year, it is essential to find the right golf shoe. I've tested plenty of shoes out there and here is my list of the most comfortable golf shoes for walking.

TRUE Linkswear

I'll start off the list with my personal favorite, TRUE Linkswear. 2018 was a rebirth year for the brand, and they released the TRUE Originals.

The Originals are an homage to their first shoe design. They have a zero drop design, so it mimics more of a "barefoot" experience. Additionally, they have a full toe box which gives you plenty of room.

These are the shoes I wear almost every time I play golf, and I highly recommend them. They come with premium leather that holds up well and is exceptionally water-resistant too. These are spikeless golf shoes, but I find that they provide plenty of traction on the golf course. You can read my full review here.

TRUE Linkswear recently announced their Major shoe, which replaced the Outsiders. It's their first tour-level shoe and I think many golfers are going to love it. The Majors are for golfers who want more stability and a traditional fit without sacrifice comfort. You can read my full review here.

FootJoy Pro SL

When I first reviewed the FootJoy Pro SL shoes, I was completely surprised by them. I expected them to provide plenty of stability (which they do), but I was most impressed by how comfortable they are.

For golfers who are looking for a more traditional golf shoe that provides plenty of comfort and stability, this is one of my top recommendations.

Skechers Go Golf Drive 2

For golfers who are on a budget, but still want one of the most comfortable golf shoes out there, take a look at the Skechers Go Golf Drive 2. At less than $100 these might be the best deal on the market right now.

They aren't the prettiest, but they feel like you are walking on pillows. For those who want a soft-spiked version, the Go Golf Pro model might be worth a look.

ECCO Biom Hybrid 3

ECCO is the brand that initially started the spikeless shoe revolution in golf. Their latest release, the Biom Hybrid 3 GTX are arguably the greatest all-around shoe on the market.

They've got plenty of stability, traction, and comfort, and are made from premium GORE-TEX leather. I put them to the test by completely submerging them in a tub of water, and the shoes held up flawlessly.

The only thing I would warn is that because they use European shoe sizes, they run about a 1/2 size larger than you would expect. Other than that, these shoes have it all.

Puma Ignite

Last but not least, the Puma Ignite Pwrsport is another excellent option. These are incredibly lightweight, comfortable, and great for golfers who are looking for a more athletic shoe style.

My only issue with these is that they are a little narrow, so if you have wide feet like I do it is something you should know. Overall, these are going to get you around the course in style and comfort.

Other Comfortable Golf Shoes for Walking

Here is the honorable mention list of golf shoes that I have not tried personally, but have high ratings for comfort:

Adidas Adipower S Boost 3

Under Armour UA Performance SL

Nike Lunar Control Vapor 2
