Cincinnati is one of the great Midwestern cities. It also boasts a great collection of golf courses open to the public. While the golfing season might not be as long as some other parts of the country, there are plenty of great tracks to choose from. Here is our list of Cincinnati golf courses that you should be playing.
Stonelick Hills Golf Course
The Golf Club at Stonelick Hills is consistently ranked one of the top Cincinnati golf courses, and even in the entire state of Ohio. This unique layout features heavily forested hills and plenty of natural water. You'll truly feel like you are getting away from it all. Additionally, the course architecture requires strategic shotmaking which will challenge golfers of all levels.
Simply put, this should be one of your top picks in the area.
Legendary Run Golf Course
Just 30 minutes outside of downtown Cincinnati, Legendary Run Golf Course is also one of the top tracks in the area. This is a chance to play a private-style facility for a daily fee. Golfers always rave about how fun the course is to play as well as the pristine conditions. On top of that, the staff is very friendly and greens fees won't break the bank.
The facility also features a large driving range with grass tees and a practice green that allows for putting and chipping.
Aston Oaks Golf Club
Aston Oaks is situated 30 minutes west of Cincinnati in the suburb of North Bend. It's an impressive semi-private facility that features a Jack-Nicklaus designed course. The course is a par 72, 6,908-yard layout situated on beautiful rolling hills. The drops in elevation will also feature some dramatic views throughout your round.
It has been considered one of the top Cincinnati golf courses since it opened in 1999, and it also one of the best deals in the area with greens fees as low as $27. You will enjoy a variety of holes and the overall quality of the facility.
Blue Ash Golf Course
One of the best municipal golf courses in the entire United States is located in Cincinnati. Blue Ash is a favorite of local golfers because it's a beautiful layout, the greens fees are very reasonable, and the course is well maintained.
Indian Ridge Golf Club
Rounding out our list of the best Cincinnati golf courses is Indian Ridge. It's about a 40-minute drive north of downtown Cincinnati, but it is well worth the trip. It was awarded one of the best values in golf for the entire country recently, which is always a plus for golfers. Playing 18 holes with a cart will only set you back $33.
Don't let the prices fool you though. You'll be playing a championship layout that is nicely maintained. The course also offers private memberships for players who want to play the course more often.
